This is a 6- by 4-foot self-portrait, which I created using oil pastels. I made this for a high school assignment, and it was finished in December 2011. The inspiration for this piece comes from Ezekiel 36:26, which says, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh."
